teemeup.ai ("teemeup", "we", "us", or "our") is an AI-powered golf planning platform. We operate the website at teemeup.ai and the teemeup mobile application. Our registered address is available on request at hello@teemeup.ai.

2. Information we collect

We collect information you give us directly and information generated when you use our service:

  • Account data: name, email address, and password when you register.
  • Profile data: handicap index, home club, preferred tee times, budget preferences, and playing history you choose to share.
  • Booking data: tee time bookings, course selections, payment references (we do not store full card numbers).
  • Usage data: chat queries, search history, feature interactions, and device/browser information.
  • Location data: approximate location (city/region) when you search for nearby courses, only with your permission.

3. How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, personalise, and improve the teemeup service.
  • Process tee time bookings and send confirmation and reminder notifications.
  • Train and improve our AI models to give you better recommendations (using anonymised, aggregated data only).
  • Send product updates and early access announcements (you can unsubscribe at any time).
  • Detect and prevent fraud or abuse.
  • Comply with legal obligations.

4. How we share your information

We do not sell your personal data. We may share it with:

  • Course booking partners (GolfNow, Chronogolf, TeeOff, and others) — only the data needed to complete a booking.
  • Service providers acting on our behalf (cloud hosting, analytics, email delivery) under strict data processing agreements.
  • Legal authorities when required by law or to protect the rights and safety of teemeup and its users.

5. Data retention

We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. Booking records are retained for seven years for tax and legal compliance. You may request deletion of your profile data at any time via hello@teemeup.ai.

6. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@teemeup.ai. We will respond within 30 days.

7. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies as described in our Cookie Policy.

8. Security

We use industry-standard encryption (TLS in transit, AES-256 at rest) and regularly test our systems for vulnerabilities. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children

teemeup is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify registered users by email of material changes at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
